Summary of Responsibilities:

This role will help The View Kitchen operate efficiently and effectively by assisting with food preparation, cooking, cleaning kitchen workspaces, and washing dishes

Reporting to:

Restaurant Manager

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare high-quality meals according to Executive Chef’s recipes.
  • Ensure the excellence of food presentation
  • Assist in the food preparation process by cutting, chopping, and washing vegetables.
  • Follow all food health and safety requirements.
  • Clean and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils.
  • Clean and sanitize food preparation workstations.
  • Assist with the unloading of deliveries and their proper storage.
  • Communicate kitchen needs to supervisors.
  • Interact with customers as needed.
  • Other duties as required.

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Existing knowledge of food safety procedures is preferred.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Food handler’s license
