Summary of Responsibilities:

The Spiritual Development Support role exists to bring administrative and coordinating help to the Chapel Team. Furthermore, this role will bring general administrative support to other facets of the Spiritual Development Team.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily assistance, operational and project management for the VP of Spiritual Development
  • Work with the Chapel Team to provide administrative support
  • Collaborate with the Chapel Team to bring ideas and improvements to services and processes
  • Take on the responsibilities of the Chapel Coordinator when on maternity leave, such as student leader oversight, chapel prep, etc.
  • Provide administrative support as needed in seasonal projects across the department

Other Duties

  • Be actively engaged in ministry at Church of the Highlands and Highlands College by leading small groups
  • Affirm and uphold the Statement of Faith and the Core Values and DNA of the College, exemplifying all by word and lifestyle
  • Manage and/or participate in other seasonal projects within the purview of the Spiritual Development Department
  • Encourages the contribution of others and takes their views into account
