Summary of Responsibilities:
As a recruiter for Highlands College, your primary responsibility will be to attract and
enroll students who align with the values and mission of Highlands College.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute recruitment strategies to attract the number of ideal prospective students needed to support overall enrollment goals.
- Meet or exceed all recruitment targets, including organic inquiry generation, funnel management and matriculation, and conversion from inquiry to application starts.
- Heavy travel is required during peak recruiting seasons from August to November and February to May. This travel may be to high schools, churches, and college fairs to promote Highlands College and recruit prospective students. This may include giving presentations, hosting information sessions, and participating in recruitment events.
- Additional travel may be required for GROW Regional and ARC event support.
- Build relationships with high school counselors, pastors, and community leaders to increase awareness of the college and its programs.
- Respond to and nurture inquiries from prospective students and provide accurate and timely information about admission requirements, financial aid, academic programs, and campus life.
- Conduct interviews and evaluate applications to determine if prospective students meet the college's admission standards.
- Participate in Discovery Days, Accepted Student Days, Motion Conference, and the Motion Open House.
- Execute the campus visit strategy for prospective students and their families.
- Collaborate and strategize with other college departments, such as admissions, marketing, and student affairs, to ensure a coordinated and effective recruitment effort.
- Research and report on trends and best practices in college recruitment, including understanding the unique needs and expectations of Highlands College students and families.
- Maintain a clean and accurate database of prospective students and provide information on recruitment activities and outcomes.
- Always operate with discretion and confidentiality to protect sensitive student information.
- Support the Executive Director of Enrollment with any additional initiatives.
In addition to these responsibilities, a Highlands College recruiter should have a deep understanding of the college's mission and be able to articulate how the college's programs and services align with that mission. They should also possess strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with prospective students and their families in a compassionate, discerning, and respectful manner.

- Participate in ministry at Church of the Highlands and Highlands College by leading small groups

Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership, administration, or related field preferred.
- Recruiting or sales experience preferred
