Summary of Responsibilities

This role will direct and oversee all operations of The View, a fine-dining restaurant on the Highlands College campus, where our students will be thoughtfully trained and equipped in life skills and etiquette. Responsibilities will include maintaining efficient operations and high quality in all areas, including productivity and customer service.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily restaurant operations
  • Develop, coach, and consistently execute Highlands service and Hospitality standards
  • Handle all staffing, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Lead and manage a service team to offer a world-class culinary experience
  • Purchase and oversee food supplies, ensuring minimum waste
  • Maintain food safety and food quality standards
  • Deliver excellent customer service, meeting and greeting guests
  • Promote a cooperative effort and team morale
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
  • Create detailed reports
  • Other management duties as required
